NYBA Parents:
Welcome to the start of another school year! The 2025/2026 NYBA Priority registration has started September 1st and will be open until October 15th. For this season, we have updated our registration process to provide automated password resets, and other credit/debit card options for payment (instead of only PayPal).
The league continues to experience challenges with gym availability, as well as significantly higher rental rates from NSD, and has finally been forced to pass along the gym rental increases. In order to maintain a sustainable non-profit program, the NYBA has increased its Registration Fee to $360 per player. We do have a scholarship fund to help those in need – please contact Jen McGibbon if you require financial assistance.
We have also adjusted this season’s league calendar to better align with and optimize facility availability. After registration closes, team formation will be completed in early November, and practices will start the week of November 17th. Games will begin December 6th (The week after Thanksgiving) and will wrap up on February 7th, before the start of winter break. The calendar is available online at this link.
